Then the Buddha said
to the anxious crowd
"make of yourself a light"
for everywhere is night
but not everywhere is darkness
in the sky above
see those blazing points
dead a billion years ago
connect the dots
you can tell again every story ever told

when you're in Heaven shining down
say a prayer for me
this unbeliever
when you wear that diamond crown
