Took a plane out to the desert
Las Vegas of course
But the strip was shutting down
While they fashioned a race course
Every task became a trip
And every trip required cabs
And every cab came with an upcharge
And we were finding it a drag
So we headed to the desert
Walked circles in the sand
On our way to the grand canyon
To see it all firsthand
We waited for the sunset
Then woke and watched it rise
Drove back to old Las Vegas
Flew back into the sky
