Plowed fields will grow I pray for those who stand I do adore
Too many steps towards a better way of life and faking out was never an option
Broken bones may never heal
Apathy tears us apart demand it brings only pain
Diseases of the heart rendering this rock mundane
I comprehend that I've become addicted to this dying world
This which has seemingly come undone or was it never complete?
A billion faces off their feet whispering to a ghost
Angels wings have been ripped and torn
Leaving behind all that is existence
A tightly woven web of lies that ensnares your body mind and soul
I assume that all will become darker than we've ever seen
Maybe not in our times maybe only in our dreams
I fear that I've become addicted to this dying place
How are we to act how do we put on a face?
A billion sounds empty and unknown
Is this why we are so alone?
