There was an old woman that lived in a shoe.
She had so many children, she didn't know what to do;
She gave them broth, oh my, without any bread;
She whipped them soundly and put them to bed.

Everyday the children was supposed to do their homework
But somehow they just ended up getting hurt
Cause they were jumping in the bed
Somebody bumped their head
The lady in the shoe didn't know what to do

So she would come upstairs and tell them go to sleep now
But when she saw their faces all she saw were frowns
Cause they had not eaten yet
They needed to be fed
Come on and eat this soup is what the old lady said

Cause when she went downstairs they started playing over again
