His light shines over the horizon
You know why, cause you set it on a hill
Take a step back, see scripture fulfilled
When He's lifted up He'll draw men to Him
Even evil people call out to Him
Take the gifts he gave to men, cause an outpour
On the rich, the poor, the young, and seniors
From the mountaintops down to the seashore
Let all that is good shine down from the Lord

Wrestling with powers and principalities

Oh how should I phrase this
You gotta find the oasis
Where you speak to God on a face to face basis
This might seem outrageous
But open up your bible, read the pages
Then you're liable to let His light shine and display your status
Call on the Highest and all His greatness
Smash Goliath, like your name's David

Exalted, I'm simple yet salted
But if I lose my saltiness, how will folks see your godliness

I'll go to work like a lobbyist
Go to congress, saints meditate on this
Cause the Word of God's predicated on this
His life is light, live life, give light
In this life so all can gaze upon it
