A little Mommy's boy
I love to draw Mom pictures
I know they brought her joy
I saw my Daddy punch my Mommy
Real hard in her mouth
And her lip split wide open
And her front tooth fell right out
I swore to God that I would
Never be like my dad
We held on to the little bit
Of sanity that we had

Growing up with violence
Wont do my heart no good
I best do everything that
My Dad says I should
Now my Mom hits me quite often
I know shes not the Mom that she was
A broken heart has problems
Showing you any love
I shield my little brother
From my parents wrath
I'll take the blame
I'll take the whacks
From the barbers strap

I became the Monster

Down for so long
They'll either roll over and die

I'm a saber rattling, Tasmanian devil, teenage boy

A prophet of doom

Incensed and I just snapped
I think I hurt some people
It all went down so fast
The pain I've caused is the kind of pain

Flowers and I'm sorry
