Is it the calm before the storm
all sound is consumed
disappeared in the dark of the night
banished into the past for good

an unwanted kind of quietness
there falls a deep silence i never heard
even if i’m concentrating
not even the heart is possible to hear

suddenly awake from a deep dream
intimate voices from familiar mouths
if you listen to the music you can hear the sound of sorrow
dedicated to the memory of mine

it is the end of existence
a frame house for my own
