Lately, i feel I’ve been treating God like a stranger
I spend all my time looking out the window for some danger
I get caught up in every lie saying I am a failure
What is the reason to be stuck in this season

i’m looking out for something
beyond my purpose so I guess it’s nothing
going back to the vices
that brought me the nightmares and many crises

You gave Your life and You paid in blood
never had a greater Love than Yours
But somewhere in the middle
i started to get fearful

i forgot who I am in Your presence
letting the distractions get the best of me
going back to my wicked life
knowing already that Jesus had set me free

i
put myself in this golden prison
Father can You bring over the Holy key
God I was living in sin
I was very expensive
but Jesus You paid the fee


Take me back
to when I fell in love with You God
Take me back
I want to live a righteous life and
You got that
so turn my dirty life into gold
that’s right!
let me honour You God
