Daffodils and roses
Gazing at the sun
Their blossoms say this is my summer
This is time when life begun

Butterflies dance in the sunlight
And the swallows grooving high
While the wind plays in the treetops
All my mind is passing by

And the clouds from heaven bleed
Lonely flocks of little sheep
And the world below seems gone
When I´m riding with the sun


Memories of big illusions
When I´m snoozing in the shade
Brumble bees among the flowers
While I´m sleeping til it´s late

In the evening when the sunset
Glowing Venus gleaming Mars
I turn my head and watch them rising
All the beauty of the stars

Where the clouds in heaven bleed
Lonely flocks of little sheep
And the ground below seems gone
When it´s all a world in one

Sleep below the moon
All along next to the houses
Silver lights around the blues

And while midnight slowly passing
Like a cat on velvet paws
All the miracles are moving
From the present to the passed

And the clouds from heaven meet
Lonely flocks of little sheep
And the world behind seems gone
While I´m waiting for the dawn
