Purpose depleting, the reason why I'm hurting and seeking
Too often we ignore it, too often we look forward
I wish I would've knew then, perhaps I would implore it
Caught at this fork in the road, which way should I explore it
This underlying anxiety has become like torment
I bottle up my emotions and barely speak a bit
Twist the cap for a track and maybe leak a bit
For all them asking me why
Play it then they'll get to hear my reply
