They parade me around in chains
The ritual to sentence years when we've only got days

One can only laugh when the affairs are so absurd
Nothing can be considered wrong when the lines are blurred
I gave the vermin the easy way out, no dread and no panic
Just their pointless life snuffed out

Yet i'm trapped within these walls
Loathed by all who have encountered me

As far as rats go, there's no difference between you and I

They rampant seas baying for another person so credulous
You've gained their attnetion, lead by another priest

Begging for release and running from no one, I could only offer tranquility
So as you slip on down the stones, into the raging foam, rather you than me

Cascading towards the maelstrom, the foolish hounds behind you
If god was real then he'd make the tide take them
As their bodies begin to surface, suddenly it all seems worth it
To watch the zealots meet their end

I slump back down, to inhabit the ground and be pummelled out of existence.

The vermins end, turned to paste to begin again
