I dreamt, again, of a wide-eyed haunting
29th and Vine to the in-between
From the concrete stacks into black
And away into blue and green
Dim the light
Let the fire in the basement make its way up the stairs
Memory calls, but ignores the response
Every time
We wander, over and under water
Into and out of the house, through the walls
It won’t make sense in the end
Everything now, or nothing at all
