The cobwebbed creatures
So crystal clearly I
Envision reapers
And pipe dream bouquets
So long since wilted away
Those times you woke
In on the joke
Soaked in your sweat
Then doctor's orders
And you fell right back down into it, so
They fill your head with sand
And make you explore each recess
For hellish debris
And echoes of revelries
It's doctor's orders
You fall into a violent light
I held it all against you
I barely understood it then
What's left of you now?
Static here, a ripple there
Heaving, singing into a vacuum
It's dust to dust
All life's weight
Transformed to ashes
And shaken off
Now I am finally learning how to levitate
Or dissipate
