Now we gotta start this off with a definition/ what does Justification mean as it stands for christians/ I propose it’s the instantaneous act whereby God pronounces a sinner righteous in light of the fact

That his faith/ which was a gift/ is present and in tact/ thus a legal declaration that’s resulting in his past transgressions and sins being stricken from the record/ he’s been delivered from condemnation/ now we got a lot to unpack

First/ its nature is one of forensic declaration/ not an infusion of righteousness or an impartation/ there’s no change in the sinners nature or character/ only his status as he stands before God/ the barrier’s been removed

Let’s move into some Biblical proofs/ Galatians chapters 2 and 3 would seem to settle disputes and abuse/ but if you’re the sorta guy that’s fortified/ got more in mind/ I recommend you turn to Romans 4/ verses four to five

Second/ its ground is imputed righteousness/ its in the text so I ain’t got no issue writing this/ 2 Corinthians 5 verse 21/ his obedience to me/ my sins imputed to the Son/ ugh

He satisfied the righteous requirements of the law/ our representative head cuz in Adam we fall/ until he got involved/ and he settled both the penal and the positive demands/ problem solved

Now we gotta move onto the means/ which means/ we gotta see what God deems that we ought to esteem/ Genesis 15 says that Abram believed/ and that was all it took in order for him to be fully redeemed

But an important distinction has to be made/ cuz his faith wasn’t the ground/ but rather the means by which he was saved/ so don’t have faith in your faith/ focus on the object/ so your salvations in accordance with his grace

Further/ all these truths will then lead us on to obedience/ its not a license to sin cuz that’d be grievous/ but rather/ peep Romans 6 verses 1 & 2/ it’s nothing new/ expedience is shunning lenience

I like the way that Calvin’s setting the tone/ we’re saved by faith alone but saving faith is never alone/ that’s why I stress bringing this home in the booth/ but be careful cuz you don’t wanna confuse the fruit with the root homie

So in conclusion/ justification is the aspect of the application of redemption in which God legally declares the sinner to be righteous in his sight/ and the ground of it all’s the righteousness of Christ

This is then imputed to us through faith alone/ not by any works we do/ you better make it known/ and lastly/ its important that we remember this/ saving faith does produce works/ as an evidence
