All I need to know is that I’m an apple seed

I don’t need to know how many branches I’m gonna have
I just need to know that I’m an Apple seed
As I grow and I sprout, I need to understand that I’m a sprout
As I grow branches and leaves, I need to understand that I grow branches and leaves
As I grow apples, I need to understand that I grow apples
If I understand those things all along the way, I understand what I am, I understand what my purpose is, I understand why i’m planted where I’m planted
You don’t need to know that you are an Apple tree if you don’t have apples yet
You just need to know that your growing, you just need to know that you have sticks
You don’t need the final word
The final word of what it is, the apple tree, you won’t get for however long
But to understand yourself, why is that not a goal
Why is a goal to go the gym everyday, but it’s not a goal to understand who you are internally
