I once had a band in New York City
It started when we hit the ground
Writing songs everyday
Trying to get that sound
Then we got a break, had a record to make
IT WAS 1984
We were getting BIG with some local gigs
But we wanted more

We got a manager in the UK
He said come across the pond
So we said OK
and we went along
We hopped on a plane from New Jersey
On a rainy Day
Looking forward to meeting Lemmy

Then in 2020 the Flaming Comet hit
No more flying, no more touring,
that was the end of it

I miss those days so long ago
But maybe one day again we'll get up and GO
