I was raised with respect and morals
But the world has gone to shambles.
Where being nice is no longer a priority
Now a land without an authority.
Gone are the days where men opened doors.
Kids are no longer safe playing outdoors.

I still try to be the best man I can be
Trying to make the ones in heaven proud of me
But sometimes it's hard to keep on track.
With the hearts of society turning to black.
You would think people would be courteous.
But being noble is looked at as a weakness.

There are people that try to do the same.
