Thank you for what you do,
For what you've done and what you're doing.

Thank you for sticking it out
And making it through.

If its true about what they say,
“what don't kill you just makes you stronger,”
Then you must be so strong it’s hard to realize your own strength.

The body is a temple and the mind is busy praying,
Sometimes a sacred space is placed between two metal tanks.

They’re firing away, yeah it gets so terrifying.
It’s easier to die fighting, then trying to fly away.

Can't imagine what it's like
To know somebody whose suppose to love you,
But they don't love their self,
So all they know is how to hate.
How they pushed you down a well
With dirty water that was barely flowing,
All the lonely nights you spent
Floating in the rain
Till the morning you were free.

Till it lifted you to see,
All the beauty in your being,
All the light beaming inside you,
Every moment that you breathe.

Like the sparkle in your eye
Reflected from the stars so high,

They all came from the same source of Love
That will never die

Just different pathways to where you're going.
You're perfect the way you are,
Look at yourself.
Your story is a gift
