Tears you’ve been dying to cry, now you can let it out
Fear you’ve been trying to hide, now you can sit and smile
Ayahuasca purging, on the verge of some bigger findings
Looking for a version of yourself you could get behind
So much in these words, and this work, can you sit without it?
Learn to love yourself without achievement and needing them all to see it
All this high seeking, Gods, demons, trying to believe in
Yourself, above all else, except maybe God
Sounds blasphemous I know but this is where I get caught
Feels like I don’t control it all but I can do a lot
So I should do it all, to honor what was God-given
I didn’t ask to have this voice, I know it’s my privilege
I didn’t ask for perfect pitch, I know that I’m gifted
Caught between being present and knowing time’s ticking
Learning from both experience and Divine wisdom
