I stopped poppin pills they were affecting all of my relations
I couldn't even function without em
Had my mind cloudy
They doubted me, try to clown me
Now I'm on the stage, they gettin rowdy
Mad my diamonds shine while theirs are really cloudy
Took a journey of self discovery and found the old me
Balled up in the corner like a kid neglected
Like I'm Naruto on the swing, an outcast
I know that I am not a product of my past
I just carry a lot of weight of my back
Ain't no diss to my father, don't wanna be like his ass
It's been a struggle for me to not live the type of life that he had
That's why I meditate and study to kill them demons from my past
I'm breaking the chains on my wrist and my neck
And my ankles
I'm no longer a slave to my anger, my depression, my anxiety
No longer running to the doctor for prescriptions; I have a distaste for pills
I hate the way they make feel
I never understood my anger
What would drive somebody like me to kill?
I ain't never seen nobody killed, but I seen a few bodies in a casket, and it gave me chills
Seen some bodies in my dreams, and I ain't know em
Bodies filled with hella shots that I was throwin
