I'm back and better than I ever been and there are goals I'm reaching for like hungry beggars
I got a hope to make a better neighborhood, like Mr. Rogers in his knitted sweater
The hope that is needed for all in the world is found in the Gospel to which I'm a debtor
The Spirit of God is within me so I am untouchable just like a biblical leper
My black turned to white like it's checkers,
This ain't just a flex for the record
The Lord is my Shepherd
So I will endure every trial I face bearing fruit in it's season no matter the weather
Look, I am not guy you used to know
The old me is gone and our tie has been severed
I traded in all that I have for the Lord
'Cause under His care I found infinite treasure
And I ain't talking 'bout the money and gold
That's not how the Kingdom of God will be measured
These trials produce more than diamonds,
They're there to refine us, when you have endured all the pressure
So I welcome all my trials like a Chick-fil-A employee tell them, it is my pleasure
I share in these sufferings now with my Lord
But one day I'll share in His presence forever
The trials endured have been painful, but I would do it all again
The valleys taught me to be grateful, I see all the blessings within
I'll take another plate of sufferings, I know for sure they are part of Your plan
There's safety in trusting the work of Your leading, so I am at peace with my life in Your hands

Look, if you ever wonder what is driving a heart
Look for the treasure a man is invested in
You will see what he has made an idol of when part of his treasure is lost or destroyed and then
Gone with his treasure is joy and security, comfort and pleasure leads him to his fear again
Stress and depression, anxiety enter and settle inside him like unwelcome residents
What is my point in this? Let me explain
All of your worry is never for gain
Today is just yesterday's unresolved worry, tomorrow you're likely to do it again
But look at the birds of the sky
They sow no seed and don't work yet they are still filled
The lilies are clothed in their glory like Solomon
All of their beauty is seen in the field
If God is providing for all His creation, then trust that His plan in His time is revealed
Your needs are provided when you keep on seeking His Kingdom and trust in His ways and His will
Surrender your worry, surrender control
Trust in what sometimes you struggle to feel
The freedom that's found in surrender's restoring the blessings that Satan's attempted to steal
