I died alone,
Draped in a fatal swathe of melancholy
At midnight,
Gelid as the gales of northern winter; skin is blistered, shiver.
Black and cold,
All my bloodshot eyes can see is everything in life I ever
Strained to break,
Strained to break away from but this nightmare I never awaken from.

I will never see dawn again.
Snow lays me to rest.
Motionless, moon gleams upon my ruin,
Grieving clouds now bury me.

I died alone,
Dragging my frail and naked body to the top of
This mountain,
Pleading that the wind would carry my scream for help further than I
Ever could.
Instead I never reached the peak and each cry faded to a whisper.
This is the end.
