Dandelions growing
On the hillside
You lay down the blanket
When it's lunch time
I open the basket
For the picnic
We both sat in silence
I still enjoyed it

And then you look at
Me with cheerful eyes
And tell me a story that you'd
Written down last night
About us moving to
A place we called our own
And carving both of our
Initials in the stone steps
Leading to the porch

The hill is painted
Orange now with
The fall leaves
I brought you a
Jacket for when
You freeze
We walk down the
Hill to where
We first kissed
Turns out that
A pumpkin patch
Replace it

And then we both lay
Down atop the grass
In between all of the
Pumpkins in the patch
Watching birds fly over
Head between the clouds
Wishing one day we will
Both have our own house
