Once a person now I'm gone
Echoes where my soul belongs
Hollow bamboo here I stand
Empty vessel empty hand


Absence fills the space I hold
Presence in the stories told
Once an individual here
Now a passage calm and clear


Gone but still I breathe the air
Wind and whispers everywhere
Absent yet I feel so true
Through the hollow bamboo


Flowing through this empty frame
Nature calls it by my name
Lost the self but found the way

Void inside yet never mute
Life's a silent breathless flute
Channel for what matters most
