In the city of dead underneath the ground
The old-world monster sleeps keeping rage with no sound.
He’s a driver for thralls,
Cruel gods are his equals
He’s a nightmare for all living under the stars.

The one thing for him to remember,
Was the time when the terror visited Earth:
The grim gods arrived with their anger,
Their awful black stars had given them birth!

So they’ve been tyrants for ageless, cruel and malicious
Around the world and the deep of the seas;
Have been creating and tormenting the human species
For entertainment and for feast!

The dark infinity is out of sight;
Its exploration would kill the darer!
And just a human won’t have the insight
Of cosmic deep and emptiness’ great terror.

Infinity’s still closed for humankind
But genius can reach the destination,
Taking fate’s pigment with the brush of time
By dipping in the palette of creation!

All of sudden the evil gods have left us,
They directed their ships to the distant stars.
Earth went into the sea,
As the ages flee;
There were buried towns that nobody could see.

The gods have planned their returning!
They have left someone on the planet for sleep;
The one who waits for his morning,
But now he is hidden in the gloomy deep.

When end days come his prison’s walls are fallen
He will provide the Lords with fresh meat!
The demon will wake up, and Earth will be swollen
With weeping and gnashing of teeth!

The dark infinity is out of sight;
Its exploration would kill the darer!
And just a human won’t have the insight

From the bottom of the world;
The Demon gives his might
From the jail without light.

Use it to draw the line
Of future that you define,
Impacting on the mind!

But that might is terrible
And unbearable!
The dark will smash your brain,
Turn you insane! And then...

Waking from dreaminess;
With the brush of genius,
The Demon will break his chains!
