I had my daily psychiatric help in the morning
The doctor said I needed a trauma to feel involved again in dreams
I wasn’t sure I really understood what he meant
I said “what kind of trauma?” he answered “a shock to fall in love again”

So I got out with kind of a question mark in my head
The morning was so warm and sunny and I, I wasn’t feeling bad
Then I decided to cross the road without looking around
A black car came along, just bumped against me and flung me on the ground

She popped up from the car
Slammed the door and bent on me
Then she sighed “my God, he’s dead!”
Trying to dry my bleeding head

The car that she was driving was an old-fashioned French type
The dress that she was wearing was in a summer flower-power style
The perfume of her arms and breast just stuck in my mind
She couldn’t stop saying again and again “I swear that I have braked”

Then I would have liked to say
“I’m alright, please take me away!”
Then I thought that I was dead
Broken heart and bleeding head.
