This ole a honky tonk is where I'm gonna be
I'll be a roarin' here all night long.

Well, I've been paid for hard week's work
Now I'm ready to blow off some steam
Thank goodness it's Friday but we'd be dead
If it came more than once a week.

I got my pickup full of gas and a cooler full of beer
And a half pint under the seat
Got my levi jacket and my best blue jeans
And a darlin' snuggled up to me.

Some think it's wrong to boogie woogie all night long
But I know that's how tonight's gonna be
