Topanga Canyon on my radio
Flying high in a paraglider
Snap a picture over Palasaides highlands
And put it in my brain

Topanga Canyon, driving up the side
A winding highway
Park the car and take the hike
To illustrate this I’ll embellish quite a bit
A perfect moment to portray

And bring an evening cardigan
A little jumper to keep the heat
Living close to open sea
Keeps a constant coastal breeze

I’m coming up to the canyon
Reinvent who I have been

The general store has the things that I need
I’ll get the coffee if you pour it on for me
Expose the beams and show me mid-century
That’s how it was in the seventies

And let my blonde hair fall in place
Another memory in my brain
