Wa Gwan This is something like an update
It's been 1000 odd days still i'm up late
Wouldn't say it ever get's easy but I must say
A few more laughs of recent but it's love hate
cos on the one hand i'm thankful that I'm moving forward
one other i feel guilty last year I bought a coffin and a house within a few months
It's like i get a little joy and then i lose some
Never thought I'd own a house before 30
but never thought you wouldn't be around this early
I was happy on the day i picked up the keys
Still got reluctant peace everythings bittersweet
Still got most of the gifts you've given me
It's like they're keeping you close, never ghost
reminders all over the home but better know
But what I'd give for you to pick up the phone

God I can't lie our relationship was strained last year
Couldn't handle the pain last year
I thought the faith that I had was all in vain last year
I thought the sun would never shine after the rain last year
But I just stepped outside it's kinda sunny with a westerly wind
and I guess that's like the blessings you bring
There's good times hard times and we wrestle within
So now it's sweet chin music when i step in the ring
It's a miracle I'm standing today
and I wouldn't have made it through if it wasn't for grace
I know even if the darkest of days you never left me alone
I remember I was calling your name
I wasn't getting an answer and I was getting frustrated
and so i Opened the Bible I starting turning the pages
and i read You're keeping watch over the good and the evil
I can't see you but you see all your people
It's like your everywhere and nowhere

I don't know what the future holds
But I know who holds the future so I'm good to go
Had some highs and we had some lows
My mother told me that you're with me and that's good to know
I took it slow
There's times and seasons
And they shook the boat
Hands are made for working
that's the book I wrote
Now I'm practicing my preach
Time to hit the road
