The best way it seems for me and art
Is the simplest and the most direct way
I just don't see the point
Of beating around the bush and
Covering up what I'm trying to say
That being said sometimes I do
That being said sometimes I struggle to get the point through
One thing I often try with me and art
Is connecting these ideas with a very straight line
But then I often find how few lines there really are
I catch myself drawing circles all the time
That being said sometimes I don't
That being said sometimes I won't
Even try to find the words
If I can't even sense the essence
I aim to disturb
So the way I'll take it now with me and art
Is the way that I am given by the way
At times I see the point in beating up the bush and
Covering up what I'm trying to say
This being said
These things are better left unsaid
