Every time I think im good, im really not
Every time im doing better, I hit a stop
Live in sin, a detriment, til im finally caught
The person that im tryna be, i guess the he forgot
That isnt who we wanna be
Longer road, an odyssey
Finally reading bible, audible
God is speaking audibly
Fellowship, camaraderie
Im speaking to my people
Though its hard tell it honestly
Its tearing apart of me, so I gotta pray
Having faith in Jesus Christ, that I will proclaim
Im really feeling like a failure God, so if I may
Have a mind of wisdom
And a heart that can, that can learn to change
I wanna learn how I can seek you
The movie of my life, I never got to see the preview
I'm wanting to believe you
Though at times I struggle
I dont think that I can please you

I fall in sin then walk around
Move the rubble, find a route
See a piece but then I doubt
Just continue on the search
Feeling worse at every turn
The sin im doing daily
Im convicted, I discern
Becoming self aware
Fight myself inside my prayer
God I know that I am selfish
I am broke and need repair
Show me where im unaware
The people I can trust
And who genuinely care
I just wanna be prepared
To be a man of God
And not just of the earth
I know that im not perfect
And it's more than just the church
A lot that I can learn
Takes a while, there's a curve
Cleaning takes a little bit longer
When you're playing in the dirt
It's really hard when youre asking for change
And you do the same thing every day
Is it my nature that im feeling estranged
I guess I cant accept the fact the debt is paid
