Back in the early grades
We heard how it would be
About the future ahead
And all the things we'd see
New tech would blow our minds
Big bold flat screen TVs
Internet would be a king
And smart phones oh yes please
But when I think back then
There's one that meant the most
And it's never taken off
No man, not even close
A total letdown, you know?

Like success if we worked hard
