There’s too many people on the take
From Downing Street to any Minister of State
In their ivory towers they’ve been preaching for so long
Who are they to tell us where we’re going wrong

And we’re not going to take this, take this any more
Listening to you hypocrites laying down the law
You told us it was smooth when really it was rough
Now I think you’ll find, that we have had enough

The Pinstripes in the city in their suits
Told us times are hard, while filling up their boots
Government eyes were blind, pretended not to know
And as our interest waned, theirs could only grow

The Lunatics have taken over the Asylum
And now they run around like Circus Clowns
They said they worked for us but they were lying
We put our trust in them they let us down…..

And those of them who work for God
Worshipping his children with their evil games
Are those unsparing of their Rods
Stealing their childhoods in God’s unholy name
