Yes, some time has passed
and I'll admit
That I'm getting on a bit,
I used to have the strength
of thirty men
Now it's probably a bit less than ten,
I used to look strong and terrific
Now I've gone gouty and arthritic,
I think I've got a touch of pnemonoul

If you will indulge a washed-up old
hero for a while, I thought I'd tell
you a few tales from the old days
about how I came to be famous.
